Mahomes isn’t gonna do that. This follows a pattern of mahomes ignoring checkdowns when he doesn’t trust his WRs. He’s gotta break the habit but between skyys bad route and several WR drops (including the Mvs drop which didn’t end up counting…), mahomes has a tendency to play hero ball because he doesn’t trust slowly matriculating down the field. He’s done that for years.

It was a good defense, early mistakes and our tendency to lose some focus when we go up big.

Yep, Patrick starts forcing stuff when the offense gets off-kilter. A couple years ago it started with CEH fumbling away two straight games and some bobbled balls by the likes of Tyreek and whoever else. I wish Patrick would put stronger emphasis on ball security, regardless of anything else that's happening around him. He's now 28, so I'm not sure he will ever grow out of the tendency.
