Yes.

One of my best friends was diagnosed with diabetes last year. He wasn't a problem drinker by any means, but he did drink (primarily good scotch). Stopped cold after he was diagnosed and won't touch a drop now. Drinking is one of the worst things a diabetic can do.

If this drinking thing is true, this clown is doomed. It's only a matter of time before everything catches up to him. Any GM that trades anything for him would be insane.
