One of my best friends was diagnosed with diabetes last year. He wasn't a problem drinker by any means, but he did drink (primarily good scotch). Stopped cold after he was diagnosed and won't touch a drop now. Drinking is one of the worst things a diabetic can do.

If this drinking thing is true, this clown is doomed. It's only a matter of time before everything catches up to him. Any GM that trades anything for him would be insane.

My friend was diagnosed with diabetes when he was 12 years old...and he drinks like a fish...doesn't seem to effect him much at all.

Not saying it's good for him...but if you didn't know he was diabetic, you'd never guess it.
