LJ was run out of town because he treated the fans like shit (or at least appeared to have no interest in pleasing the fans) and because he wasn't productive. He wouldn't have been run out of town for his troubles with the ladies if he was still running for 1500+ yards per season and especially not if he would have made an effort to connect with the fans.

Like I told OTW there is some truth to the fact that when LJ started sucking alot more people started to hate the guy. But I know for a fact alot of Chief fans absolutely hated the guy for his actions. I used to listen to talk radio religiously and people would constantly bash LJ and call him a thug and a criminal.

As far as him treating fans like crap I really don't remember hearing much about that and that wasn't the experience I had with him. I went to TC 4 years in row and never once had a bad experience with LJ. He almost always signed autographs but admittedly he sometimes wasn't in the best of moods. On the other hand one of the supposedly nice guys on the team, Tony G, always treated the fans like complete shit.
