I think this is the point George is making.

Whether we all agree or not about hunting, I think we all understand the importance of a human life versus an animal's life.

but - this situation is unique, as JD and others have put it, a cemetery is not an amusement park.

And people spend their time there reflecting and searching.....for anything that might help them get through a rough time in their life.

You have to be pretty damn cynical not to understand how this deer could have meant a lot of different things to a lot of different visitors to the cemetery.

While I love animals, I'm not a PETA member, nor am I going to judge those that hunt (as others stated, it WAS necessary on the Oregon Trail ), but sometimes there are unique situations that LOGIC dictates that it transcends the typical arguments.
