Who are the sucker teams who will trade for a starting QB this offseason?

For once I get to sit back, watch, point, and laugh at the other teams who hinge their immediate futures on unproven backup QBs. Or at least I hope I will. I'm anticipating that Mallett and Cousins will both be traded. You just need a team in a bad enough draft position who's dumb enough to make those deals.

What do you think?

Teams need a QB. You can't always draft one you like.

Raiders have a team full of marginal WR's and TE's #2's at best and #3s on most good teams...

It's all about to change, with a full slate of picks and plenty money to spend, the Raiders are over the hump and will be a helluva lot better soon...

Laugh and giggle all you want but this game is about money and the Raiders have it now.

It wont decline enough for the qb position. He will be who he is scrambling wise his whole career. He will retire before his scrambling/running ability effects how he plays the qb position.

Last two SB's have featured running QB's. Granted Wilson passed more than ran, but do you think if Peyton didn't have feet made of stone that game would have been a little more competitive?
Wilson is a pocket passer with the ability to make plays with his legs.

Kaepernick is, at this point in his career, a running QB with a strong.

In their respective SBs, when they needed to make plays with their arms, Wilson delivered, Kaepernick didn't.

The same can be said in their matchup against each other in the NFC Championship this year.

I am not suggesting that "statues" win, though you could argue that a statue won last year against a running QB with an arm.

I am telling you that SBs are won by QBs that make plays with their arms, and their heads.

That, in no way, despite the cannon, describes Vick.

If anybody care, here is my wish list

Short version
1-Resign Veldheer and Houston
2- Draft Sammy Watkins
3 Pick up Alex Mack via FA
4 Some help at getting to the QB with Houston

TWO quarterbacks in NFL history have started less than one season's worth of games in their careers, got traded to a different team, and then went to a Super Bowl with that team.

Brett Favre and Matt Hasselbeck.

This isn't about signing/trading for veteran QBs. This is about putting your team in the hands of unproven backup QBs that other teams try to scam off with the hopes of coming out at the end with extra draft picks in their pockets. It's not a very good strategy. It's not productive. At all.

You may as well sign a stopgap and then draft a midrounder if there aren't any appealing options. It has the same exact chance of paying out, and at least then you're not helping out douchebag teams like the Patriots and Redskins who so ****ing OBVIOUSLY made those QB picks so they could trade them away later.

Go take a look at Vick's 2010 and 2011 season. Are those the stats of a QB that lacks play making ability using their arm and a plastic bag for a brain? I mean honestly? Your giving him such little credit it's ridiculous. I never said he was elite. I said he could start somewhere... which he most definitely can and will.
