Prayer Request What one single thing would make this site better? - Page 8

I know many of you will have several ideas, but try to narrow it down to one thing that you think would make the biggest difference in your enjoyment of this site.

Mine would be getting mod powers. I think making me a mod would dramatically improve everyone's lives here.

A day ban is nothing to him. Seriously, he has been banned as many, if not more times than half the combined board.

I've no reason to either believe or doubt you. I'm just saying that it's been pretty much the way it is now since I first started reading the place. I started posting in 2009, and the Cassel v. Sanchez stuff blew the board up that year, so we're looking at about 5 years right there.

I'm not disagreeing with that. I'm disagreeing with the notion that this place would fall apart with a little more respect and civility floating around.

February, 2009. It's been different ever since.

Pretty much a repeat of what has happened this year - trade valuable pick(s) for unwanted QB, fans of unwanted QB's previous team show up to try to sell him to the masses and act as if they are superior fans, you know the rest.

It's gotten progressively worse, but absolutely started in 2/09.

I think it's due to a combination of opposing fans and a younger crowd that is more interested in "the lulz" than solid football talk - and it's ran some good posters off.

I always thought the get-togethers were key to the essence of the board. You tend to act a little differently towards people once you've met them in real life. Anonymity breeds contempt.
