Yeah, I've been told that if we don't get a home playoff game that I can chose to have a refund or to have the amount be credited towards next years seats.
Not sure why he said that. |

I was told the only option was to put the balance towards playoff tickets for 2013 towards season tickets in 2014 with no refund on the table.

Intel came from the guy who has been acquiring season tickets since the 1990s...

If one or both playoff games are not played at Arrowhead Stadium, payment will be automatically credited towards your 2014 season ticket account. Should you wish for the payment not to be credited towards your 2014 season ticket account, you may request a refund by February 14, 2014. |

Here's the thing about the refund, though.
They charge more for the playoff tickets (mine go from 78 per ticket to 115) and say the refund won't be sent till about 5 weeks have past and by then the renewals will be out. My 2 seats will come to 1560 and iirc the payments are spread between 4 payments. 390. If I choose the pay as they play option, they automatically get 230 for the first game...if I want a refund, I won't receive it until after the renewal payment is due so why even request the refund? |

Also makes ya wonder how much total cash Clark is able to hold onto in this, though.
When we don't get a home playoff game, "The Clark's" get to hold onto millions of season ticket holder dollars and collect interest on that money. IMO they shouldn't be collecting the money until the fact that there will be a game at Arrowhead is confirmed. If there is gonna be a game at arrowhead, it will be in the divisional round. That's 3 weeks away. |

Ive never been to a playoff game. If we play in Indy I'm gonna try to go. Only an hour driven but parking is such a bitch up there. Took fiance out for dinner in downtown for bday during big ten championship and it was a nightmare trying to find parking. If they play in Indy, when do tickets usually go onsale?

But as far as buying for face value from the Colts is concerned, I would guess this week depending on what happens today. I don't get it, but Cincinnati started selling tickets to the public yesterday morning, and they aren't even guaranteed a spot in the playoffs, much less a home game. They could wait until the 30th to start selling, though - then they'll not only know the opponent but the game time/date. |

I talked to someone in the ticket office in Indy this past Thursday, and they said they will go on sale to the public as soon as it's determined when their home game will be. So according to them it could be today after the game, or it could have to wait until the regular season is over. They are available on StubHub, eBay, etc. but the problem with pulling the trigger on those is unlike the Chiefs playoff tickets where the game either happens or doesn't, with Indy they are having a game, but if the somehow jump to the 2 or 3 seed or KC steals the division then you're stuck with Colts tickets against some other WC team. |

So...
Anyone planning on cancelling based on yesterday? **** it. I'm still going. I'd feel a lot more confident if we play Indy. I think Cincinnati would destroy us. I've been a fan of this franchise for over 30 years, and have never witnessed a playoff win in person, and obviously haven't seen one in any capacity in 20 years. As we all know, these opportunities don't come around often. Go when you can - who knows when you'll get to see another one live and in person. I'd be ****ing disgusted with myself if we won and I had the chance to be there and passed. |

I've got a hotel reserved in Indy and Cincy and I'm leaning toward canceling the Cincy one at least. The extra couple hours of driving each way, the fact that it's going to be outside in OH in early January, and that I think we have a lot less chance of winning there than in Indy makes that one seem not so worth it to me. If it's Indy, I'll likely be there unless I have a lot of trouble finding some tickets. |
