Alex played the game of his life and he was BETRAYED by the defense

Alex Smith dropped 44 points on the Colts and somehow still lost. Alex is a hero. 44 points can win you a SUPERBOWL. What happened to the best defense in the league? They sure weren't out there tonight. You could cut all of them and it wouldn't matter. What matters is having Alex.

He's ****ing slow as hell.

As far as 3 deep goes at HB I like what we have. He's dependable, doesn't fumble, seems to read the play well and follow his blockers. Seems to pass protect reasonably well.

He's just ****ing slow.

It's no slam on him or Smith. He's use to Charles running that and now we're down to the guy who adds extra meat on your burrito at Taco Bell to catch a pass...

Why even bother. No Davis no Charles no Avery. But Alex had to be flawless. Any one else see the reerunation in this line of thinking?

JC is an elite player and Davis is a rook with a fumbling problem so I will cut him some slack.

Rausch. All I am saying is you know that I know that. Alex knows that but he is too classy to ever day that. Unlike Dalton who blamed everyone but himself in their loss

He'd be better off with the Tiki method of carrying the ball. He looks like Okoye trying to run for 3 yards and a cloud of dust when he covers it like that and that's not what he is.
