According to the report, the league sources say the NFL determined 11 of the 12 footballs used by the Patriots were under-inflated by two pounds per square inch each. Per NFL rules, footballs are required to be inflated between 12.5 and 13.5 PSI and weigh between 14 and 15 ounces.

I love all the qualifiers. "playoffs" (because regular season wouldn't work) and "post-spygate" because the first HALF of hsi career, including games before Brady/Belichick, wouldn't work too well either.

Bottom line is that it's two games. TWO games. "owned" for two games over 8 years. It's a real shame the Donx didn't beat the Colts this year so Brady and Belichick could smash them (as you and I both know is exactly what would have happened).

They improperly taped the signals that other teams were giving. Stealing signals (which isn't banned) using a method that wasn't clearly banned until at least 2006.

Why the PATRIOTS are blamed for the NFL's decision to destroy the tapes is beyond me. How is that their fault? Why is that held against them? You guys act like the tapes must also contain evidence of Belichick murdering babies or something absurd. Reports are that the tapes contained two things -- recordings of defensive signals, and alot of chick T&A.

Glazer has noted this to Deadspin already, but it's worth repeating: The Spygate tape starts out with the Pats mystery cameraman ogling tits before spying on the other team. When Glazer got the tape, "I jumped up to God and said, 'Thank you, my best friend God almighty in heaven!' The crazy thing is, in the first part of the tape, you're watching, and it's nothing but, like, tits and ass. For a while he's zooming in on the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders, or the Jets City dancers. Then, all of a sudden, boom, it clicks over.

Arlen Specter was trying to convince me to give him my copy, because I'm the only one with it. And I said no. And they were telling me that they would give me something bigger. And I said, 'What could you possibly give me?' I knew there was nothing. They're full of shit."

The tapes go back and forth between… Well, the first part of the tape, the guy recording it , all he’s focusing in on are the butts of the Jet City Dancers. He’s going from chick, to chick, to chick, and then you see, like, Tom Brady step in and then he’ll [the dude taping it] hit the coaches a little bit, but when there’s a break? He goes into the stands and then focuses on T and A. It is classsssic. It is like Spygate meets “Girls Gone Wild.”

Yeah, so in that respect it’s just like any other camera guy shooting the “scenic” shots for a game. Glazer does go on to say however, that the tapes show the Pats were blatantly trying to steal signs in their taping. He also says he and his friends watch em when they come over for parties. I guess in that respect they’re also similar to GGW tapes. It will be interesting to see what comes about with Goodell’s meeting with Walsh next month. I’m guessing things will get ugly for the Patriots.

They fined BB BECAUSE HE PLAYED A ROLE IN CONTINUED CHEATING EVEN AFTER BEING TOLD -IN WRITING- TO STOP.

I think this will be an interesting Super Bowl. I have no idea if the Patriots will win, but I'm sure they will give a much better game than the Broncos putrid 43-8 effort.

if Michael Jordan was tied down to a chair and I played him 1 on 1, I'd beat him at basketball (I think)
