A) That's debatable. Cruz is the only one who has definitively been better than Morales throughout the season.
B) No one likes A-Rod.
C) Even if Morales is, in your opinion, only the fourth best DH in the league with a month until the All-Star Game, why does that mean he doesn't even deserve a "sniff," as the author of the previous post declared? Should only the top 3 choices of Hamas Jenkins and CoMoChief deserve to sniff the delicious scent of All-Star glory?

I totally agree with Hamas about who's "better" or an All-Star based on production. I just dont see why Royals fans should care. Its a popularity contest. The funniest thing is many Royal fans have over exaggerated protective parents syndrome where they feel the need to justify their own as the very best when its clearly not true. Its quite obvious Escobar, Morales, Moustakas, Hosmer are not the best at their position, and yes im taking into account defense. Its really not even debatable. Still doesnt stop me for voting all Royals though. #DownWithTheSystem

Right. Its pretty clear Morales is significantly behind here...And Prince Fielder has played the majority of the year at DH...and his numbers blow all these guys out of the water. .930 OPS

You can look at OPS, offensive WAR, home runs, whatever u want. Stop grasping for straws Royals fans, just come out and say it. You are voting for Royals just because u can. They dont have to be the best

Morales also has more hits, more doubles, and fewer strikeouts than both. He has more total bases than Bautista and about the same total bases as Rodriguez (4 fewer bases in 5 fewer plate appearances).

So basically, Bautista and Rodriguez have a few more homers and more walks, therefore Morales doesn't deserve to "sniff" the All-Star Game.
