Two 1st round picks for Russell Wilson in '16 and '17 or '17 and '18

Do you sign the offer sheet if the Seahawks non-exclusively tag Russell Wilson?

Pole cumming.

You can scream it from rooftops for all I ****ing care.

It's a worthless opinion.

My worthless opinion is that there are only a couple of QBs that would be accomplishing what Wilson has accomplished.

Isn't Hootie the one ALWAYS bringing up QBR as a measure of how great a QB is?

Wilson's QBR:
2012: 71.75
2013: 58.94
2014: 62.45

Ryan's QBR:
2008: 73.58
2009: 58.5
2010: 70.58
2011: 69.92
2012: 74.84
2013: 61.14
2014: 66.98

Tell me again how Ryan isn't elite if Wilson is?

Wilson's a good QB. He's a leader. He's unique. He's like Fran Tarkenton, in that he's a winner when the entire team, running game and defense around him is great.

But he's not a prototypical NFL QB, like the Manning's, Luck, Ryan, Brady and Rodgers. Put any of those guys in Seattle and they appear in the past two Super Bowls, hands down. Put Wilson in Indy, Atlanta, New England or Green Bay and they're lucky to make the playoffs.
Wilson is a 100x better than Tarkenton. Wilson will develop into the franchise QB he is. He doesn't need to be the prototypical QB and he's shown that. He's more than just a scrambler. I would love to have seen him with Matt Ryan's weapons.

Very true.

But it's also true that Russell Wilson isn't the prototypical QB and that if Seattle had a Ryan, Brady, Manning or Rodgers at the helm, their offensive scheme would be different than that of Wilson's.

He's the modern day Fran Tarkenton, with a staunch running game (Chuck Foreman) and fearsome defense (The Purple People Eaters). The difference is that Wilson won a Super Bowl while Tarkenton lost the three in which he appeared.

There's no doubt that Wilson is a very good QB but I'd take Rodgers, Ryan, Brady, Brees and the Manning's before him.

Really? So, Wilson is an automatic Hall of Famer? Wilson will hold every QB record when he retires, just as Tarkenton did?

Really?

When your TD% is approaching Dan Marino's in your first three years, you are pretty special.

I don't know about HOF but this guy is definitely going down as the best Seahawks QB ever.

I'd take Rodgers and Brady.

We have 17 years of playoff struggles against pressure to see how Manning performs against real pressure.

Brees and Ryan would get killed behind the overrated Seahawk line.

Rodgers is the only QB who's better outside the pocket.

Brady is a master of what I refer to as "pocket mobility"
He is the best at moving within the pocket to avoid pressure and making plays.

Milkman, Hootie and Claynus all agree about Russell Wilson.

I don't think that's EVER happened before.

All detractors must submit to our combined will.

We have to assume Milk has suffered some diminished capacity due to age.

When they begin losing talent, we'll see what kind of QB Wilson is.
