He's a very average QB which is better than anything we've had since Green.

He does not lose games with stupidity but then again, don't expect him to win games with brilliance either.
I can live with that.

I think he drives teams crazy - much in the same way Jake Plummer used to bootleg us. It's so annoying to give up yards that way.

Ah, the Jake Plummer bootleg. You'd think there would have been one time Eric Hicks would have remembered not to crash down on that play leaving Plummer wide open on the roll out. But no.

He has made a lot of plays with his feet....especially last season.

But if he keeps trying to make stuff happen with his feet, he's gonna get pay a heavy price...

I'd much rather have a guy who doesnt have to rely on his feet as much...but not all of the blame is on ALex for that last season...the right side of our line caved in alot on him. Hopefully we got that figured out.

I'd love to see his rushing yards go down to almost zero and his passing yards go up by that same amount or more

His playoff performances both here and with San Fran says otherwise

How are Smiths third down conversation in the games where he put up decent numbers? I'm pointing to the indy meltdown and NFC champ game specifically?

Well the Indy meltdown was really more on the defense than Smith and the offense. The 2nd half offensive playcalling and execution was the perfect strategy for a 30 point lead but unfortunately the lead was only 28.

Do you even think before talking? Charles didn't even make it onto the field for more than five minutes and Smith put up spectacular numbers despite having a bunch of broke dicks to throw to.
