Maybe so but what i say is still correct.

Our offense actually improved when Charles got hurt because it forced Andy Reid to expand the playbook. He got in the habit of just playing defense and waiting until Charles broke a long one to provide the offense.

Denying that just makes people look stupid.

Hopefully Reid has learned from his mistakes but so far this year it doesn't look like it. At least with Ware we hit it hard up the middle and force defenses to keep guys inside tight. Ware brings the playaction pass effect back to our offense, something Reid doesn't believe in.

I'm not saying that Ware is a better player than Charles, just that with Ware playing Reid is forced to use slightly more of his playbook.

and to continue my whining ..... might as well embrace it since it doesn't matter what i do or say, i can't lose the label.

We desperately need Reid to relinquish his OC and Playcalling duties. Keep him as HC but we need a better OC. He is not aggressive enough for the current NFL and under him our offense isn't disciplined or inventive enough.

Why throw any of those risky passes beyond 5 yards when Charles might just bust one for 6 if you keep giving it to him. ~Signed Andy Reid~

Not to mention that our offense becomes even more about outside the hash marks. Reid's dinky passes tend to be outside the hash and now our running game will move more outside with Charles instead of pound it up the middle.

Ware is the most physical guy on our offense
I think that's just Andy Reid trying to make use of his greatest offensive asset. Can't say Id blame him. Charles is the type of guy that we all know can take it to the house. He's still the most explosive weapon on this offense in my opinion.

I think Charles can stretch out the defenses a lot more. That's key right there because that could leave the middle open for Ware.

Laz is spot on here...

One can HOPE Andy has learned his lesson and isn't so JC centric. It's too predictable and too easy to key on him. Spread it out, use him as a decoy, give Ware plenty of work and continue to try and stretch the field will make JC - and the entire offense - all that more effective.

That's how I'd play it anyway.

Though I have not seen anyone point out specifically how the offense improved after the JC injury, it clearly did. I really don't know how it happened, but yeah, Reid is as easy to blame than anyone.

I don't want to see Ware rush less times, but I do like that JC is headed for taking West's touches this game. West, whether hindered by injury or sudden vaginitis, has been troubling in his limited time. Always running straight for the sideline a la Albert Wilson.

It will be fun to see Charles back at it.. but I still want Ware to be the main RB. His vision and power can't be denied.. and if the OL didn't have so many fail blocks, he would be in the top 5 of current backs.

I like Ware, but if Charles is 100% and still the same Charles, then he needs to get at least 15-20 touches a game.

Ware is good, but there is no one that has the combination of vision, speed and explosiveness that Charles brings.

well, hopefully Charles' play will forcefully remind me of this. Happy to apologize to him then.

I hear you and was worried as well, but how much worse can this offense get right now when adding someone of JCs caliber? It's already been stalling out lately, maybe it needs to be changed up again.
