Anyway I am taking everything Alex says about Mahomes with a grain of salt. Alex is a class act he is not going to talk bad about Mahomes. He praised Kaepernick as well and now look, Kaepernick can't even get signed as a backup.

When I see Mahomes during regular season light defenses up consistently then I will get excited. Until then... I refuse to get too excited about the guy.

So far Mahomes looks great but we are talking about 3-qrts in preseason... It doesn't mean much in the grand scheme of things.
