That's because you are an idiot.

You're the definition of mediocre if you don't care what we get for Smith. I'll ****ing take anything, every bit can help.
No, because 5 or 6 games could get him to the point that this team is ready to rock NEXT year, instead of next year being his first meaningful snaps. Learning curve now, ready in 18.

I’m sure playing 5 to 6 games with 6 months off will make a crazy significant impact for next August . Please stop fam.

Its almost half a ****ing season you dolt.

If you dont think 5 games of preparing as the number 1, practicing with the ones, playing on Sunday, and correcting his mistakes will help progress him to be ready for 2018, then you are as big a cuck as alex smith.

I'm not saying he should start but you don't think six games of experience would help a rookie prep in the off-season? On that point alone, you're wrong.

Given how much the rest of the division sucks, he'd probably get his first playoff start as well.

Which is a great thing... QB playoff experience is a big deal, so to get that his rookie year would be awesome.

Ok, yes. This is a quality rebuttal with merit to it. I enjoy debating these topics but notice that after pg 8 or so the discussion in every thread on this board becomes grown men hurling insults at each other like 6th graders who can't convince each other to change their favorite player "Gronk's the best stupid," "No! JJ Watt is the GOAT moron!"

...anyways, I digress...I'm not sure that next year is the year we can actually make a run at a Super Bowl. I'm of the thought process that Mahomes will need at least a full Rookie year, then in year 2, or much more likely year 3, he could get this team to that level. I think most outside of KC would hear me say that and dismiss my projection because it wasn't conservative enough. That being said, I think there's a strong argument that another 2nd RD pick would be more advantageous than Mahomes getting 6 games this season.

No I think you are a ****ing moron for being concerned with getting a draft pick for Smith so much you dont want Mahomes to play this year. And thats really just a load of shit, the fact is you are just a Smith nut hugger which makes you an even bigger moron.

Happy Thanksgiving!

I never said I did not want Mahomes to play this year so we could get a draft pick for Smitty. You are trying to put words into my mouth..

I've been very consistent with what I've said. I said I think Smitty has played well enough to continue to start and I showed the stats to back it up. But I also mentioned I trust Reid when it comes to making decisions about our QB. He's got a proven track record in that department.

You guys are the ones constantly whining about Mahomes starting. I could careless. If he does great, if he doesn't I'm okay with that too. It's up to Reid. Not a bunch of armchair HCs who think they know better than Reid because they are good at fantasy football.

Regardless, only an idiot would say he could careless if we get anything for Smitty. You don't just cut a QB who is putting up the numbers he is. You want to get something in return. That's a smart GM move. You never know what type of player a draft pick can land you. Pats got Brady in the 6th round.

Happy Thanksgiving.

He’s a moron for wanting a draft pick? I think you’re the ****ing moron, why would you pass up the possibility? You don’t make any ****ing sense. This is why we’re always mediocre.

Yes,I would rather have our current high investment draft pick spend 6 weeks getting playing experience then have another tanoh kpassanoh, kavarie russel, chris conley, or philip gaines.

Kindly choke on a bag of dicks kind sir.

Good luck.
