Good luck! Surgery is fast, but rehab sucks, especially the first 48 hours.
Tore ACL in 2014 playing soccer in a charity event. Didn’t know I did it, thought I strained it, wore a brace and played KC Corporate challenge volleyball on it. Finally went to a doc how told me it had been torn for about 3 months. Had surgery and 9 months later I did my first indoor triathlon - you will be fine as long as you take the rehab seriously.
