I do believe in lower carbs than most Americans eat, especially if you aren't very active and trying to eat very little if any processed sugar.....But no where near a low carb level where you are in ketosis. 50-100g of carbs a day is pretty sufficient for most average people though. And unless you're replacing these carbs with very high fat foods, your look and waist line will likely improve. Those who shouldn't do lower carbs are endurance type athletes. People biking, running or playing sports that have a high cardio component. But again if you look at the average American, this isn't them. |
