All correct. Just to set the record straight once here so I don’t need to address this repeatedly:

I was crushed when the Tyreek Hill news came out. Devastated. I spent that first Friday evening on here becoming an expert in the first two pages of a Missouri police report. I hoped for the best yet feared the worst a la the Kareem Hunt saga. As the days went by, I noticed three people on here from KC who seemed to have some inside insight that was incriminating. I lost hope. I set my expectations extremely low, expected him to be cut, figured our Super Bowl window may have closed the second Dee Ford inched offsides. I thought many posters here had severe home team bias and couldn’t see straight. Several flat out admitted that they’d accept him on the team even if he beat his kid because they cared only about a Super Bowl. Somehow it all turned into a strange crusade for me.

Anyway, long story short, a lot of the stuff I had been led to believe was wrong. I admit that freely. The entire time I desperately wanted to be as wrong as I am right now and it feels glorious. I don’t necessarily know if Tyreek Hill is innocent, but I surely think I wrongly over-exaggerated his potential guilt before. And if the NFL didn’t suspend him, there’s clearly more than enough reasonable doubt that I can root for him to score 20 TDs and have 1700 yds receiving and not for a second feel bad about it.

I got a little bitchy about the situation at times. A lot of it I regret; a lot of it I don’t. I’m just so ****ing excited for this season that I’ve never been more thrilled to be so publicly wrong. Sorry to any of you I annoyed or offended. My nearly three months off CP have been cathartic in a multitude of ways. Onward and upward, gentlemen.
