Chiefs draft notes from Terez/Robinson podcast

Just listened to Terez and Robinson on the Yahoo Sports podcast.

- Robinson heard from 2 different sources that the Chiefs have been kicking the tires on a lot of potential 1st round round WR’s. Specifically mentioned Reagor and Shenault.

- Terez said the Chiefs will go IOL early (first 2 days) and watch out for Cesar Ruiz after a trade down.

- Terez likes Dobbins and has heard the Chiefs are interested as well, but they also really like DeAndre Washington.

- The bottom line is the Chiefs are going to “pump up the asset of Mahomes” early.

I would think so. Analzone was a poor player for them last season.

IIRC, the latest CBS mock had Ruiz to the Chiefs at 32. First place I'd seen that.

I’m on board with loading up the offense while grabbing a LB and a DB (hybrid corner-safety like we use a lot).

I’ll support whatever picks we make on offense. I will never doubt Reid or Veach there.

I’m pretty much there. I’m not going to be super excited with a RB at 32 but I get it if they do. I’m still hoping for Murray or Queen but as long as it’s not QB, K or P....I’m good.

Added news...

The Eagles are leaking rumors everywhere that Jerry Jeudy has a bad knee to try to get him to fall to their pick...

I’m with Mecks post above yours, sure I have my own little wish list... but who the hell am I?

If the braintrust wants to load up on offense, by all means go for it... other holes can be addressed in free agency

It's best to accept at this point, if you haven't already, we are always going to be an offense first team. We are never going to Aaron Rodgers Patrick where he loses all of his weapons and is stuck trying to compete with 5th string receivers everywhere.

I’ve learned over the years that having my list of must draft players is only going to lead to disappointment. Just accept what they’re going to do and hope it works out. So far Speaks is the only **** up that was taken high.
