Other than Mitchell Schwartz, can you name a better RT this franchise has had play for them since John Tait? Damion McIntosh, Barry Richardson, Donald Stephenson, Jah Reid, Chris Terry, John Welbourn, rookie Eric Fisher? Hell, my goddamn boy Herb Taylor?! Would you not agree Mike Remmers is better than all of them? Back in those dark days, would you not have killed a hooker just to get a Mike Remmers at RT?

We don't even know what Veach is up to. He might have a trade up his sleeve. Reiff and Okung are still on the market. The draft is coming up. Nate Taylor has basically said, "No, Veach isn't done yet." So here we've got the second best player at the RT position the Chiefs have had in the past 20 years, and we don't even know if he's going to be a starter or not? All because moving him to LT for the Super Bowl failed miserably and we didn't really have any other choice because everybody had ****ing AIDS?

I don't see the big deal about Remmers. I see Remmers like I do Dirty Dan, and Niemann. Get rid of all of them and I would not care. They are smart and know where to line up and what their role is but aren't athletic enough to even be in an NFL uniform IMHO.

The one thing I will never understand is why they moved him there. The reshuffling was not smart. I'd rather have half a solid line and move the pocket there then make the whole line people playing out of position.

JFC... We went 14-1 in the regular season with the line we had.. Lost a meaningless game at the end then walked to the SB, Played guys out of position at tackle in the SB and it cost us... We need all the depth we can get.. Veach knows what he's doing..

I think Reiff was just slightly worse than Fisher, but with a better run blocking grade.

I figured he'd be working at World of Fun this summer as a turnstile but I bet the Chiefs offered to pay more for similar work.
