Let's talk about the Bengals [and Hamburger Helper]

This one is huge as far as the #1 seed goes.

Let's talk about it.

They will be highly motivated. They are on the verge of a division title if they win and Pitt loses.

I didn’t check DVOA, but I’m not surprised to see this.

They don’t have a rushing stat that jumps out as any better than bottom 10.

Their pass protection is the worst in the league. I’m pretty sure DVOA accounts for that as part of the passing offensive ranking.

Those rankings sound about right.

Willie Gay has been exceptional at tracking down running plays from the back side, so Gay will be really effective this week.

Damnit, Cincy fan is as good as they come.

They have a good team after years of struggle. They have stuck with their team through shit that would horrify even us and our playoff freak show losses.

They get nothing but respect and support from me.

They give up more than their share of sacks, that's certain. But Burrow seems largely unflustered even when sacked multiple times in a game. One of the many things I like about him, and a principal reason i think he'll become a top-10 QB someday, provided CIN actually gets him an OL soon.

But my gut says Burrow will struggle early vs. our defense, which is unlike anything he's seen before, even very different than the defense we had last time we played CIN, pre-Burrow.

And then there's the simple fact they can't stop any TEs they've played this year.

How do they think their D is going to fare against the best TE in the game (maybe the best ever)?

Yeah I’d really much rather see them run that division than the godawful criminal ratbirds or Stoolers with their jizz rags. But it is tradition that we shit on any fanbase that we play.

Yeah, area trash talk is strange, especially when something like 80-90% of people live within 2 hours of where they grew up.

Look at these idiots, growing up in a different part of the country! Losers!

And it's not like it's Green Bay versus San Diego (where everyone would rationalize why they live in each location and what sucks about each location anyway).... I've never been to Cincinnati, but would guess it's very much like Kansas City in many aspects, given they have almost identical populations with I assume very similar weather in flyover country.
