Rock, paper, scissors would be kind of cool to see being done at midfield, but a coin toss works just as well. The people clamoring for changing the rules remind me of the little league parents complaining that their team didn’t get a trophy for finishing in second place. The beauty of sudden death is it’s all or nothing.
The Bills top rated defense had an entire game plus 7 plays in OT to make a play, and they didn’t. Changing the rules just because you lost is just plain weak. |
