Part of why Eric isn’t a head coach is because he’s a “yell and scream” coach that uses lots of profanity and younger players don’t respond to that style of coaching as well. Especially at all positions of a team. Running backs are a rare breed/mentality where that style “brings the dog out” of a player, but for positions that require more of a thought process and less rah rah, it doesn’t work as well.

I actually think that EB can be a pretty good HC, but it will be for a specific style of offense (balanced play calling/play action and in a town where blue collar hard work is important to the core of the culture).

His style is dying in todays nfl and I’m sure most owners would be concerned with his his style would be perceived in the media and therefore, their business sponsors.

Like hiring a dinosaur, in a way.
