Creed Humphrey allowed a rare 3rd down pressure that stalled a drive
Chris Jones was invisible until the 4th quarter
Nick Bolton didn't have many big plays

We got carried by *checks notes* Justin Watson, Jaylen Watson and Willie Gay.

Meanwhile, on their side, Bosa, Derwin James and Mike Williams all brought the heat.

In order to beat us next time, they have to hope for all of those guys to bring the same energy and they'll need Mack, JC Jackson, Keenan Allen and Austin Ekeler to go off.

It took them a crazy one-handed catch and a couple 4th down miracles on the final drive just for them to lose by 3 instead of 10
Bolded statement is not what happened.

Orlando Brown was not beaten repeatedly. It was infrequent. Just 2-3 true pass block losses on the night.

I don't think Bosa is dirty and I don't think that was a dirty play. He was losing his balance, going to the ground and still tried to make a play on the QB.

I want Chris Jones and company to do the same thing to our opponents.

I know, just saying. No Tyreek Hill and they've got the one guy in the league who can consistently lock up our only other elite receiving weapon, plus all of that other shit that went wrong for us and they still needed some heroics to lose by 3 instead of 10.

I suppose they can feel good about dominating us for most of the game, but I don't think I'd feel encouraged if I were a Chargers fan. They looked like the same ol' Chargers to me, just more expensive.

I'll have to re-watch but someone was for damned sure getting beat and I highly doubt it was Thuney and Humphrey.

Bosa probably had the best game of any of their defenders and he was lined up across from Brown most of the game from what I saw.

Agreed. The nation hated/hates the patriots because they had 20+ years of constant allegations and proof of cheating. They were damaging the sport and undermining everyone's enjoyment of the game by doing so.

At worst for the Chiefs, the nation likes to root for underdogs and the Chiefs' opponents are always the underdog these days. Too bad for them.

As for the whining about the officiating, the Chargers had maybe - maybe! - one penalty called against them until the Chiefs pulled away for good. The only complaint at that point was that the refs started calling penalties against them so the penalty stats would look a bit more even at the end. But even then the Chiefs had more penalties called, and at more inopportune times.

Good Lord....looking at the Chargers' schedule, it's hard to see many losses on there. I'm sure they'll drop a few, but they might be favored in every game left. Many will probably be easy wins. KC might need to sweep them to have a good shot at taking the division.

Haven’t looked but isn’t it almost identical to chiefs?

They play Cleveland (without Watson), Atlanta, and Miami while the Chiefs play Cincy, Tampa, and Buffalo.

Chargers could easily sweep those and KC could easily lose all three. A division title would be well earned this year.
