The Chase (no pun intended) play is really weird because it looks like Mathieu could've drug him down without much contact.

Look at the play at about the 2:24 mark on the sideline - same thing. He's right there at the catch point but doesn't try to accelerate to break up the play. He gets there and just watches Ward (another little arm motion) and then jogs alongside Chase until he just takes himself out of bounds.

Or the screen at the 1:50 mark when Thornhill is getting downhill despite being single high and Mathieu just...never makes it onto the screen at all.

He was a complete bitch his final season here.

Like I said - none of this is new. This is who Mathieu's been for a bit now.
