Had a house fire in Jan, complete write off of everything we owned. Outside frame was okay, but firefighters cut the crap out of the house and the fire/smoke destroyed joists and a chunk of everything else. Barely got my kids out, wife got pulled out a window. Nobody burned, a little frostbite because we were barefoot in the snow (all healed fine). Fun day, lol.

Dude, same thing happened to my boss like 7 years ago. She barely got her 2 kids out and it was like -15 out, one of the coldest mornings of the year. Went out without any shoes or anything. There was ice everywhere.
