watching football

It comes to my attention that watching other nfl teams is like watching paint dry. My favorite team the Chiefs are most exciting team always. Just way better even my stepmom who don't like sports think the chiefs are more exciting then the cowboys who her full blooded sons love.

p.s.Even before QB 1 The Chiefs were exciting deberg and his play action plays. DT calling his safety. Dante Hall kickoff return. Len Dawson quick strikes to Qtis and Willie Lanier monster sacks.

Did anyone besides me notice the Vikings tackling last night? Made me glad that KC has DB's that will put a shoulder into the runner. The Vikings DB's would dive at their feet and grab at an ankle as it went by. Almost all of NE's big gainers had 2-3 "hand tackles" it seemed like. I'm still not sure how NE lost that game even though I really despise BB and the Cheatriots.

I watched parts of all 3 games yesterday and a thought occurred to me. While I loved those Marty teams, I can see why we always were an also-ran. Five of the 6 QBs I saw were, at best, pedestrian.

This was pretty much my take. There are some really bad QBs starting at present and that takes away from the enjoyment of the game. Daniel Jones is just bad and Mac Jones is worse. Cousins and Goff are mediocre at best even with outstanding talent around them. Cousins in particular seems like he's struggling just to run a play (he looks like he's about to give birth). Prescott has talent but he really looks bad a lot of times and the one legitimate top tier QB (Allen) is struggling right now. With the exception of a couple of teams (KC being one of them ) the QB play is down and the game suffers.

Aside from most of the Thursday night debacles, there has been a decent amount of non-KC games I have enjoyed this year.

Last nights Vikings Pats game was good.

We have come a hell of a long way from the times where the only instances you would ever see the Chiefs in a highlight clip was from them getting scorched on D or Mark Castille being unable to put a hat on.

I think watching other games makes me more:

1) Appreciative of what the Chiefs are doing.
2) More knowledgably about the game and how to have logical and more unbiased discussions about it.

I also like to watch certain players play.

Barry Sanders was a childhood hero to me.
Watching Aaron Rodgers QB over the years has been fun.
Watching Peyton Manning be a real time OC at the LOS.

This year watching Geno Smith complete some beautiful deep passes and audible into some great plays.

PS: **** Tom Brady. He is going to hell.

What an amazing coincidence. I too am a supporter of the Kansas City Chiefs who play on the pitch at Arrowhead stadium located in Kansas City Missouri in the good old US of A

Long have went on record that watching the Not-Chiefs play the Not-Chiefs is much like watching old people **** :

It's slow, it's boring. No surprises. Someone is most likely going to get hurt. It's not loose...just sloppy.

You feel kind of dirty for watching it...but...you're gonna watch it anyway.

The NFL product this year is just really bad. I am not sure why. Offense is down but not because D got better. Offensives just look sloppy and unprepared.

Seems the viewers agreed. Basically every game is prime time. Every game is the Super Bowl for the opponent and Mahomes ripping their hearts out late is must see TV.

Rather than watching old people **** or not Chiefs vs not Chiefs I prefer to throw in the comimerative DVD of the Super Bowl LIV video my favorite team The Kansas City Chiefs Victory over the San Francisco 49ers. It's especially good when you are home alone and have nothing else better to do than master bait. Just try to get past the part they run Wasp without climaxing. Guess watching old folks **** to each their own, but I see the comparison I'd just choose not to continue to watch.
