Bills vs Bengals

Gonna be the decider for HFA. Worst case the Bills win and we secure the 2nd seed. Best case Bills lose and we become the 1 seed.

Bengals are a 1/2 game ahead of the Ravens for the division lead and this game could give them the 2 seed and a chance at the 1 seed if they win.

Primetime in Cincinnati. Should be good

Could Allen or Burrow steal the MVP away from Mahomes in this game?

It's hard to say what will happen in this one; the Bengals have won the last two games not looking great. The Bucs were dominating the game and then imploded. The Patriots gave the game away as well. I've said it before and I'll repeat myself; the Bengals have been getting every positive bounce and call this year.

I'm thinking this is going to be a 27-24 type game and either team could win it. The Bills have a history of folding under pressure so I'm taking the Bengals in this one.

Nah, doubtful. I think Mahomes' only competition was Jalen Hurts until recently when Hurts went down and will miss two/three games.

The ONLY way I would think Allen or Burrow could get up to MVP is if one of them does something Extremely Special in their game this week and to close out the season, in addition to Mahomes having a really bad game against one of these terrible teams (donks, raiders) they have left.

Not impossible,, but not very likely at all.

Gotta disagree here, the Bengals definitely did not get the bounces and calls last week against the Pats and the Pats didn't give away the game, the Bengals tried to. Pats offense was terrible.

Pats only offensive TD was on a 3rd and 29 hail Mary heave that was tipped in the end zone and ricochet/caught by a wr. This happened directly after the play where Mac Jones dropped the ball which looked like a fumble but the refs called incomplete (very close). The Bengals did not get the bounces/calls to go their way on those for sure.

Chase had a terrible game for him. He had a miscommunication that ended up being a pick 6 and then also fumbled the ball to give the Pats life again as Cincy was trying to close out the game.

Against the Bucs, 2nd half adjustments by defensive coaching enabled much more pressure on Brady and the Bucs folded.

Every team gets bounces and calls to go for and against them during the season. It's how it goes.

In week 1, Pittsburgh knocked out Cincy's long snapper with no penalty called (was supposed to be a penalty). That forced Cincy to use a backup TE to long snap on a game winning XP try that ultimately got blocked right up the middle. That blocked XP that would've won the game should have the Bengals @ 12-3 and #2 currently,, but they didn't get that to go their way either.

Every team can point to plays/bounces that go either way.

I see a team that was 10-7 in the regular season last year and needed a couple choke jobs from the Titans and Chiefs to get to the Super Bowl and then lost to a very not elite Rams team. They put together a nice little run last year, but at this point I see it as just that.

Yes, they’ve had our number. But again, so did the Browns against them. Doesn’t make the Browns a better team. Just like the Bengals aren’t a better team than the Chiefs. I think we’ll see that proven out in the playoffs this year.

Luck eventually runs out (ask the Brownies)
Don't forget they only got out of the first round by Carr throwing a pick at the Bengals 2 yard line with time running down.

Well, you could have them rated below the Chiefs because they’re below the Chiefs at the two most important positions…QB and head coach.

Winning three in a row gives them bragging rights but it doesn’t mean they’re superior. As has been mentioned, the Browns beat them 4 times in a row and two were blowouts. Yet at no point did anyone think they were inferior to the Browns. Sometimes teams have your number and the ball bounces their way for a few games. They were all coin flip games with odd and uncharacteristic mistakes that made the difference. Two were road games. I need to see them actually win convincingly before conceding anything.

Not going to get into a pissing contest...

Pats missed 3 extra points and were driving for the winning FG when the fumble occurred. This fumble occurred long after the forward progress was stopped and the RB was being pushed backwards. Don't try to tell Chiefs fans what forward progress means. The strip on Kelce could very well have been blown dead as well when the Chiefs were driving to go up 11 in the last game.

Patriots will be playing for their season week 18. It'd be ideal if the Bengals can take care of it but all hope won't be lost if they fail.

Problem is the Bills seem to handle the Patriots defense just fine.

Yeah, and have no problems with the Patriots offense unless there's a 60mph gale during the game.

Not much I like about Cincinnati except for Sotto's Restaurant but I'm their #1 fan for approximately 4 hours tomorrow.
