In case anyone needs it spelled out, we would play at a neutral site if the AFCCG ends up being Chiefs vs. Bills. All other scenarios abide by the usual rules (so any other game the Chiefs play will be at home).

Assuming this is how it plays out, KC is getting screwed at the expense of a team that didn’t want to finish their game, and I’m not just taking about the night of the game, but additional nights going forward.

Great precedent being set by the league for the next time a tragic or very serious injury takes place. If you’re losing, just say ‘eh, we don’t feel like playing the rest of the game. Not just tonight, but going forward as well’.

I'll admit that their example 2 for the Ravens does make me hesitate on my conviction that win percentage should always be the metric. It does seem shitty that a team could theoretically fake a death (yes, it's far-fetched) in the last week of the season to clinch a playoff seed (by avoiding a loss).

But whatever. We all have our opinions, but this one is fairly benign. It's not like we've been batting 1.000 at Arrowhead in the AFCCG.
