It was intended to be part of KC's 'royalty' theme for it's sports teams, like Monarchs, Royals, Kings, etc.
I dunno. I find the Tomahawk chop pretty cringe. I'd rather just drop all of that stuff, it's dumb.

Commanders is a solid alternative for the Chiefs name, but the Redskins already took the Commanders name. Lol
