Well for one thing, this isn’t necessarily true. Perhaps by being spread too thin doing the job of two people, he wasn’t able to realize his full potential as HC/GM.

Reid had great success when he was in charge of personnel anyway so it’s a shit argument. He went to 5 NFCCGs in 10 years or something ridiculous.

You can say that in terms of the overall success of the team, Reid is important, my point is that your choice of words really downplays Veach's eye for talent.
