Maybe, maybe not. It's hard to fault him for not trading sooner when he earned a king's ransom for when he did trade him.

And again, it's easy to laugh about now, but Russ was largely known as a perennial Pro Bowl caliber QB.

The Seahawks traded him off, found promise in Geno, and got better.

Just a fantastic move by Schneider, aided of course by a great coaching staff.

In the coach/GM combo, the Seahawks are in my top four in the league, alongside the 49ers, Chiefs, and Steelers.
