You are the GM and you need to make a $12m decision. Do you bring MVS back?
If MVS is designated as a pre 6/1 cut that would free up $12m with $2m in dead money.

We obviously don't know who will be out there available in FA so the question is posed based solely on his performance in KC so far. Do you bring him back to KC for the 24 season at $11.5m base salary... or do you try to trade him and failing that simply release him?

I don't know that it would be unanimous. I talked some shit on MVS earlier and a few posters wept and gnashed their teeth at my spurious words. Tried telling me I simply didn't understand the value he brought to the team as a guy that stretches the field.

Yeah, the theory of MVS: Seam Stretcher is a good one.

But as was mentioned by some as far back as week 3 - being a decoy only works if you present a credible threat of getting the ball. MVS really hasn't most of the year. And once he fumbled that ball, i think Denver realized he was a non-entity for the rest of the game.

They were FLYING downhill on the sideways shit. There was zero respect for the downfield passing game at all.

Pittman, Higgins, Ridley, Evans, Mooney, Hollywood Brown, and several others are all FAs. The WR room is bad enough that KC likely needs to add a FA WR or trade for one as well as draft one. I'd prefer to keep our draft picks and think one of Brown, Mooney, or Ridley would be a nice addition. Would love Pittman or Higgins here but I don't see them spending that much money on the position. I think a group of Rice, 1st/2nd rd pick, and maybe Hollywood Brown would be a significant improvement over the current group. They need the $12 million from MVS in order to make such a move in FA.
