Don't worry about it. I doubt he even tries to play and if he does, he'll be so compromised that a backup would be better.

He's a non-factor this week.

It's time to end Buffalo once and for all. Beat them and they go in a free fall.

Yeah. Actually kinda hoping it's a high ankle sprain and they try to play him, and Kelce roasts him for a huge gain.

That’s what I was thinking too.

He was carted off. He isn’t playing this week.

Mahomes came back into the Jags game and was clearly compromised the rest of the year. And he’s a quarterback. We can protect him. You can’t protect a linebacker.

We lost 1 game by more than 1 score, and everyone we played was up more for the game than probably any other game this year. The season has now started. The Chiefs being ready to play Sunday won't be an issue.
Another note on that Broncos game is that Mahomes and half the team had the flu.

What are the chances that they axe McDermott if he loses to us in the playoffs again?

Davis, Kincaid, Knox, Cook, Diggs and Shakir are the best group of weapons left in the AFC field. And yeah I get Diggs has regressed, but he's still a WR2 at worst right now.

Not to mention Allen himself being a running threat.

I don't even want a 13 seconds sort of gut punch.

A wall to wall ass kicking that removes all hope would be just fine. Another late heart-breaker will convince them that they have another run or 2 with this core. Nah - let's just put that to bed.

Feels like Dalton Kincaid will have to be the difference in this one. I think we can handle Diggs/Davis fairly well but Kincaid has looked awfully good since he started getting big reps.

I don't think he's going to have a Kelce day or anything, but if he goes for 70+ and a score, it's going to soften the middle up a bit and in so doing also start opening up lanes for Cook out of the backfield and in the run game.

So if you can lock Kincaid up early, you'll force Buffalo to be a little more conventional and that will play into our hands with our CBs playing as well as they have been and the LBs all being so sound against the run.

Yes. We would fare far better if Davis can't go. That allows us to commit extra resources to their tight ends and running game.

I really, really, really, REALLY hope I am wrong.
All the pressure is on Buffalo.. And Mahomes takes things personal and that ignites his competitive fire.. The loss to them and the way we lost will be personal to him and the rest of the team..
And… You are a moron…

Forgot about Shakir. He's looked awfully damn good; just really strong with the ball in his hands. A 3rd strong WR will make things complicated, especially with their ability to play 12 personnel with both Knox and Kincaid.

It's a strong offense. D will need to stand up and our offense is going to need to figure out some of this red zone shit.

We for sure can't be scoring 3 points as much as we did in the Dolphins game. The Bills offense is too good to be doing that.

We need Allen to keep making those boneheaded mistakes that he seems to make against everyone else except us.
