VARSITY
An idea I heard one time is if the NFL goes to an 18 game schedule is a bye week for the whole team and a bye week for players of their choosing.. For example The team gets a a week 6 bye.. But we rest Patrick, Kelce and others on week 13 against the shitty Raiders… Everyone has to sit out a 2nd game on the 53 of the teams choosing… Make for some interesting strategy…

I don't think that is ever going to happen.

Just like I'd like to return to a 14-game season to reduce wear and tear on the players isn't going to happen either.

man...would love for Patrick to take a week off... he aint that guy, but would be nice to have him fully healthy. But what do I know.... if it's like the rest of the his ankle injuries it will linger all season one way or another.
