If Pat sits and they lose, the whole team has to play against Denver. If they lose another game, the whole team has to play wild card weekend.

If we clinch the one seed after Christmas, the core players will get a minimum of 24 days of rest.

You want the core guys healthy for the playoffs, that’s the best way to do it.
