NCAA College Football 2006

I picked mine up last night. I am loving the "Race for the Heisman" feature, but I can't stop anybody on D.

What does everyone else think of the game? I was hoping the College game would have the vision passing so I could get a leg up on that for when Madden 06 comes out.

Desmond Howard on the cover?

Of course they had to stop using a regular int variable and use a floating point number to accomodate Scanlon's ratings. 999,999 strength had never been considered before.

I've been wondering where Scanlon's super-powers came from and I think I have an idea. Maybe there's something magical in the Roy's saliva that can be contracted through the penis. What does everyone think? We can get someone (not me) to test that theory. And no, I do NOT want to see pictures.

So you guys are saying that after the offense version in 2004 and defense version in 2005, they've gone back to offense? Who would have guessed?? Gee, I wonder if it's the same for Madden

The happy medium may be AA with sliders heavily favoring the computer, just like years past.
Psicosis can vouch for this, but I've always struggled finding the happy medium on NCAA. AA is always too easy and Heisman is always too cheesy.

I pick my copy up today and then I'm gonna start on sliders.

You could afford it if you trade in some of your old games, like the NCAA 2005 for that game. Granted, it won't pay all of it, but it would at least take 10 bucks off. Also, since I rarely played Madden 2005, I also traded that in, and that was around 12 bucks or so.

Plus, if you get those game magazines, you can try to find a coupon for that game. You'd just have to look around for it.

Trade other games in, like Coach said.... also, ask for a used copy. People will buy it and then trade it in a week later for something else because it suc.... er, because they played it so much.

I love me some screens, trick plays, WR reverses, HB pass to the QB.

What do you guys think of the NCAA player ratings?

I am always a little disapointed when it comes to EA Sports talent evaluators. DonTrell Moore and Chris Barclay are rated as the #4 and #5 best RBs after Bush, Peterson and DeAngelo. Give me a ****ing break.

Wake Forest's QBs (Cory Randolph, Ben Mauk) are ranked higher than every QB tandem on the entire game!

Kelly Jennings from Western Michigan is the second best WR. He's 5'11 and will probably go in the 1st round of your Madden draft which is a joke. He's not even one of the top 20 WRs in the country.

Leonard Pope is the second best TE in college football (consensus, check the preseason mags) and yet he's not even ranked among the top ten tight ends!!!

I'm afraid you can't do that. You have to choose one or the other.

I'm really looking forward to picking up the game this week.
