An Iowa versus Kansas fight thread? I think I'll go bait the midget and the reerun across the street to have a spelling contest.

I was raised in Iowa. I don't know why people diss it so much. It's not great, but it's not horrible either. Iowa City is one of the most glorious places on the face of this planet. Plus alot of my friends are there, I miss it sometimes. Minus KC and St Louis, Missouri would suck a whole lot worse than Iowa.

Like I said we were on a trip. In no hurry. Someone suggested driving through Amish country to see the scenery. The backs of buggies scene grew old fast so we hit the open road the rest of the way. Still no scenery but at least we could move.

Touch a nerve?

Iowa=slice of middle America
Pretty rolling farm hills of green corn stalks dotted with red barns and cows.
Fun state fair.
But what else is there really?

My kid loves it though.

beerme doesn't like Iowa Because the Road signs are too tough to read?

It must be a real brainbuster after mastering that "EEE" and "route KK" complex of potholed spiderweb pony express trails they call roads in Missouri.

Iowa is a great place. Saying "iowa has nothing but corn" is kind of like going to the circus and saying they only have clowns"

I laugh at the fat guy complaining about Iowa with his mouth full. Without all of the high fructose corn syrup, your mullets wouldn't be nearly as shiney and full of poof.

I didn't say a thing about them being tough to read. The ones that weren't covered up by road crews were easy to follow when we drove through about 10 years ago. I did say my wife and I had fun making a game out of the whole "****in' Iowa" thing so it was worth the trip just for that.

And I don't even live in Missouri so whatever about that.

Funny that I can post a thread asking for serious help for my brother's band and it turns into a bash fest because some of the folks here didn't like their look. That was family and friends but it was ok to attack anyway. This is a ****in piece of land. It means something when someone disses something important to you doesn't it.
