Every team passed on Pujols 12 times because he didn't really seem to be an exciting prospect. I saw him in High School; he didn't strike me as the prenatal form of the future God of baseball. He certainly didn't bring much attention to himself playing college ball for Maple Woods Community College (a joke of an institution around these parts). So I don't think that Pujols emergence as a HoF player makes any team look bad, it only makes the Cards Lucky as ****.
