You've got to love the fact that all of our top players want to leave because of the management. TG, LJ, Trent, Jared. I'm kind of surprised that Derrick Thomas' widow isn't calling up to see if Derrick can get traded and go into the Hall as a Buccaneer or something.
It's not rebuilding when good players actively avoid playing for you. It's just destroying.

When has LJ ever stated he wants to leave? What did Trent leaving have to do with the management? Because the management (just like everyone in the NFL except Cam Cameron) knew Trent wasnt the same player anymore? Green wanted out because his scrambled brain was telling him that he could still be a starter in the league. And what does Gonzalez leaving have to do with management? People around here seem to have it in their heads that this is some hostile situation with Gonzalez and Carl, when it is anything but. Even if Tony was utterly convinced that the Chiefs would win the Super Bowl in 5 years, he would still want out because he has no plans on playing that long. What do people not understand about Gonzalez basically saying before the season that he was done after next year? Allen is the only one who fits that description you gave. But Allen is a moron and, rather than own up to his own mistakes, he got mad at Carl because Carl wasnt ready to back up the bank truck after all the trouble Jared got in. You are going to blame Carl for that? |
