I love Tony Gonzalez as a player, but he's right behind Gunther in the blowing smoke club.

Every year it's, "This team is going to surprise people." "This is the best Chiefs' team I've ever been on" nonsense.

Rebuilding is a word you use when you are losing. There is no rebuilding if you are winning football games. Hopefully Gonzalez realizes this with the new coaching staff as it appears he's been so brainwashed by Herm's way.

1) They paid him handsomely

He says the same shit every single year.

How about he keeps his mouth shut? He wants to dictate things, but this team was 2-14. Tony loves the offense because this offense padded his stats.

Most players are more naturally optimistic. Playing the game on any level, but especially at the NFL level takes a comittment beyond just getting a paycheck.
