However, what would shock me is that Arians would qualify as meeting Rooney Rule requirements, as he is a white man.

I had no idea Arians coached for the Chiefs.

Gretz interviewed him yesterday and has a piece on his blog about it. That Chiefs coaching staff that Marty had with him in the beginning was very impressive.

And that staff of 12-men helped turn around the fortunes of the franchise. Consider the names Schottenheimer put together:
