As you mentioned, if it were truly the "best" players, it would be a bunch of players from the super bowl team, then no one, then MAYBE DT and Tony G. That's why I chose to place the constraint - it's much more interesting to show history when you ensure players from a variety of time periods.

But like I said, it'll never be perfect.

And you have to think about it because like some music you would associate with the 60's actually came out post 70. I guess I would think the SB team is 60's because thats when I started following them but they played into the 70's. For me the post stram to marty era was a deep dark period i dont think about often.
