Oh dear lord no ...
Some people get worked up over words on a screen and nothing -- and I mean nothing -- will fix that. Those people will always find a way to be offended, clutch their pearls, and fall on their little virtual fainting couches. There is simply too much chance of someone trying to get someone else banned not because they deserve it, but simply because they thought someone on the Internet was mean to them. Yes, there are several people who post crap in the D.C. forum not to have an honest discussion of the issue(s), but simply to get a reaction -- and that includes insulting someone's family. But the solution isn't to ban them. It's to ignore them. There's a reason we have that feature. Listen, most folks who have been here for more than a month know who the crap disturbers are in D.C., and even in the Lounge. Put those folks on ignore and go about your lives.
