the big problem is that there is so much money available out there that the high priced guys are going to demand HUGE,HUGE money ... more than normal.

Unfortunately, you are correct on this. But do you think the economy will have anything to do with NFL salaries - specifically for aging players?

Probably not this year, but if things don't turn around it will have to in a couple of years.

I heard that part of the interview and set up when I heard the QB part. Exactly what I've been saying. First, a disclaimer, I'm not trying to tell Pioli/Haley who to draft. As of now I have faith in their ability to select the correct players. But, I hope they draft Stafford or Sanchez at #3. A junior Manning/Elway/Montana will go a long ways to helping us win a championship. A franchise QB elevates the talent around him.
