Do players respond well to them? Do they teach good fundamentals? These are questions we know NOTHING about, and we choose to have a strong opinion anyway. That's especially true for positions coaches--how the **** do we know that a guy like Gary Gibbs isn't outstanding at teaching fundamentals. Have we seen him on the practice field actually teaching players? No. All we can judge these guys on is what we see on paper. That is exactly the problem. And worse, we're assuming because a guy like Pendergast couldn't call good plays that that means he can't coach players. We are blasting the GM for decisions because of some stats and numbers we looked up on Google. Are you serious? Haley and Pioli have worked closely with most of these guys. Don't we think they know just a little bit more about these guys than we do?

We don't know anything about these guys and yet we're willing to rip on the GM that brought him in. It's ridiculous. I'm not blindly supporting these guys. I'm just willing to give them at least an offseason before I start making judgments about them. Innocent before proven guilty.

The majority of all criticism has centered on Mr. Slappy.

I'd say we have somewhat of an idea about what he brings to the table.
