Big news on devin Hester

http://www.chicitysports.com/2009/08...entrate-on-wr/

Devin Hester isn't going to be returning kicks any longer (kicks) so he can concentrate on WR. How do you think that's going to turn out? He had 51 catches, 650 yards+, 3 TD's in his first season at WR with Orton. I expect him to do better with Cutler.

You might as well throw out Orton's first year in the league. He was a 4th round draft pick and had to start 15 games as a rookie. In 2008 he had 10 TD's and 4 INT's through 8 games... Then he hurt his ankle and he was never the same. Just watch Orton presnap. He is does a good job of recognizing what the defense is doing and audibles into the correct play. Cutler very rarely called audibles.

Please enlighten us on one leadership quality he has portrayed since joining the NFL. Don't just make up shit that makes you feel better about your team.
From an article titled "Kyle Orton is new leader of Bears" http://www.sportsnet.ca/thewire/foot...is_new_leader/

It might be time to say the obvious, say it out loud and not be embarrassed.
Kyle Orton is for real.
He is the leader of the Bears.
I’ll need a little more time before going further.

‘‘What can you say about Kyle?’’ Olsen said. ‘‘He is turning into an elite passer in this league.’’
‘‘He really has a command of what he wants to do,’’ Vikings coach Brad Childress said.
‘‘It seems like each week, he takes another step,’’ Bears coach Lovie Smith said.

Easy for them to say.
But Marty Booker dropped an easy touchdown pass in the second quarter, and the Bears ended up getting just a field goal. And what did Orton do?
‘‘I told him right away when it happened to him that I was coming right back to him,’’ he said.
Well, it wasn’t until the third quarter that Booker had his 51-yard touchdown catch. Orton said Booker turned on his burners.
All of the players in Chicago thought of him as a leader and he was a great teammate. Not many players that played for the Broncos actually liked Cutler... And from what I'm hearing, it sounds like Cutler isn't making many friends in Chicago right now either.

The players in Denver really do like Orton. Him and Brandon Stokely stayed at Dove Valley while the rest of the team was on vacation and worked on routes... Kyle didn't have to be there, he chose to. Kyle is ALWAYS the first player on the football field at practice and the last to leave. He is a natural leader with a hell of work ethic.

The defense is always ahead of the offense this early in training camp. They also know exactly what our offense is going to do so they can jump routes and be overly aggressive.

Orton has nowhere near the athleticism that Cutler has, and he doesn't have the arm Cutler has. But Cutler doesn't have the smarts that Orton has, the work ethic, and he doesn't have the leadership ability Orton has.
It's really pathetic already. Stop making an ass out of yourself.

From what I hear his passes were downright horrible though. Thats not from the d jumping routes thats from Orton blows.
