What were the other of the several?

You can get by with a QB like Cassel if you have a defense.

Yeah, the words "get by" don't belong anywhere near the words, "franchise quarterback."

So...just so I'm clear on this -- Cribbs runs back not just one, but TWO kickoffs for TDs. Not only 14 points, but 14 tremendously demoralizing points.

And your defense allows something like 800 yards of rushing. (a slight exaggeration I know)

And someone started a "Cassell sucks" thread as a result of this? Yeah, uhh....Unless he threw 4 picks I'm finding it tough to take this thread seriously.

My question is why hasn't he improved at all over the course of this season? I'd be more willing to give him time if he'd show any kind of improvement at all. The line protection has improved some. The running game has greatly improved. And while these factors should promote improvement on his part, Cassel has mostly regressed. The most he's shown me is a decent drive here, a good series there. But never consistently through an entire game. Good franchise QBs elevate the play of those around him. Seems that we're mostly holding out hope that we improve those around him so Cassel looks competent. That doesn't indicate "Franchise QB" to me....

Are you too stupid to understand a WR comparison? Bowe and Chambers are miles better than Snoop Minnis and Chris Thomas or whoever those ****ing nobodies were.

Uh, the fact that the special teams sucked yesterday along with the defense does not negate the fact that for two straight weeks, Matt Cassel had a QB rating of less than 35.
