**C.P. 2009 MVP Award Nominations**

Alas, the time is upon us....

Another wonderful installment of the 2009 Academy Awards.

Brought to you by your wonderful CP Academy.

This award must abide by all of the Academy rules and regulations which can be found here.

The Academy views this award as the most important and distinguished so please take your time in considering who you would like to nominate.

Now then, time for some specifics:

•You may nominate yourself however; you will need three other posters to agree. (We view this as douchebaggery btw)

•Please cite a specific reason why you nominate the poster, you can post a link or just write up a quick few lines about what they contributed in 2009. All nominations must be seconded in order to be considered.

•REMEMBER, this award is for 2009, therefore when you nominate someone make sure it’s for something they did this year.

We don't have a maximum or minimum required amount for nominations, (the more the better IMO)
**EDIT** Maximum is 50.

•Academy members ARE eligible for nomination.

**Edit** Once a nomination is seconded; that's good enough. I don't have time to track how many times one particular poster is nominated.
Thanks.

+1 Jilly - Trust me she tried, Gonzo. I nominate her for keeping threads interesting, (to say the least).

+1 Gonzo - Because, well, I sleep w/ him. Oh and he does bring a lot of humor to the board.

+1 Simply Red - He has clean sheets and soft hands.

+1 Burt - He is the Master Kegel Blaster! (a title that was given to him by yours truly).

+1 Dane - His smartass remarks in the football related threads are hilarious! (Despite what some ppl think of him, he really is a nice guy... u just need to refrain from discussing football w/ him).

I have more nominations, but my lunch break is almost over.

I was a total d-bag to you in that one thread, but I figured that it was so out-of-character for me to act that way that you'd figure out I wasn't serious. You didn't, so I took it further and further. Heh. You're good peoples, Gonzo, don't let anyone (especially psuedo-me) tell you other wise.

For those wondering what this is about: Dale and DomerNKC detest me because I detest them because they don't think that hip hop qualifies as music. This stems back from the 78th Academy Awards in 2006 where Three Six Mafia's "It's Hard Out Here For A Pimp" won the Oscar for best song for its inclusion in the tremendous film Hustle & Flow.

I'm nominating DeezNutz. He really came into his own in 2009. I can remember when he was first trying on his more-grammatically-correct version of 'penz-style sarcasm; well, its a well-oiled machine now. Each dry, bitterly sarcastic the-opposite-of-what-I-say-is-what-I-mean posts hit with major consistency. Combine that with his status as one of the very few Planeteers who know what they're talking about with respect to both football and baseball and you've got a perennial MVP candidate. Plus, he stays out of D.C.; there is something to be said for that.

Also, I would nominate cdcox for his math genius, and for the programs that he has come up for draft order, playoff percentages, etc.

Pretty cool stuff.

Someone needs to bump the Oscars thread from this year where Fat Fingers had a meltdown and we started bombarding him with wrestling gifs.

That was one of my favorite threads ever.

I prefer to be adressed as burt. Short for butt hurt! And I don't detest you. To me, you are not important enough to detest. I am mostly apathetic about you. Domer....well, he detests you.

I nominate frazod.

Fellow Mizzou, Chiefs, and Cardinals fan, and he suffers fools like a gnat through a turbofan.
